The Academy of the Justicars was established as an organization of knights and agents of the crown, meting out justice among the peoples of Ulduinor, defending the kingdom, and supporting the recent unification of lands under the high king.
Now High King Ilius I, the first high king in history, has died. He leaves behind him a legacy and a curse. His legacy is the academy, the newly united Kingdom of Ulduinor, and the building of the new capital city of Erathia, which is to be the soul of the kingdom. His curse is that he did not designate a successor or heir.
So begins the Time of the Broken Kingdom, a time in which a newly graduated grey sept of justicars must navigate the politics and machinations of the noble houses, the successors to the king, and dangers both within and without the Kingdom of Ulduinor.
