Kuliala understands the secrets mortals speak in the dark. She hears the whispered words and dark promises mortals make. She champions the scorned and those whose fears keep their loves locked away. She is a goddess of protections, but in the way a songbird is protected in a cage. She rewards the jealous and possessive. She always enjoys those that work to eliminate their better’s with poison in the in the dark and has concocted some of the vilest poisons as her gift to mortals.
