The Trans-Metro Railway
The trans-metropolitan railway is neither truly a railway, nor does it proceed to anywhere considered metropolitan by the general human population. The “railway” consists of a Hollow claimed and developed by the Spring Court. Within the hollow is a single windowless boxcar which can hold up to 8 individuals comfortably, with no engine or tracks to be seen. Upon closing the door from inside the boxcar, the rasping metallic voice of the ‘engineer’ will request a ticket, though no engineer or P.A. system can be seen. The destination may then be specified by those riding the train and approximately 5 minutes of grinding, whistling, and other train noises can be heard as the boxcar rumbles and shakes. Upon exiting the car the trees surrounding the hollow will have shifted position, although this may not be obvious. Immediately outside of the hollow will be a hedge gate leading to the real world destination specified, or the Keweenaw Goblin Market, the only hedge location permitted for travel.
