Thank you for the compliments. I think it helps that it was a very fun and interesting adventure path. Unique in some aspects. We have finished the series now and the characters were victorious though it was a tough final battle (which is also good). Hope to return to the region with new characters so they can explore with new stories but there are always lots of things I want to run.
I am interested in Jade Regent as I love oriental stories and games. Whether I play or run it is undecided. Right now I am playing in and co-gming a werewolf game set in Seattle, so that is where most of my attention has been going. However there are a couple of updates I need to put on this page.
I am also impressed by the site and it certainly has inspired me to do better in my own Kingmaker game. I am envious that your players have certainly got into the website side of things. Mine require serious prodding to get involved. I have tried to change that up with creating missives designed for each of them that they have to rule on based on their position.
It is also great to see Adelaide has a skilled and mature gaming community still. It seems so hard to find fellow Adelaide players these days so a big grats on having a sizeable and interested group.
Out of curiousity, are you planning on running another Adventure Path after Kingmaker? I admit that I looking at getting a second game going using Jade Regent but that is a big iff based on players I can find.
Fine site. I am playing Kingmaker at the moment (http://www.i-scapes.co.uk/wgc/Pathfinder/index.html). My character has recently become Duke (after several other Dukes died) has survived an assasination attempt at his wedding and we are just starting to have trouble with Fort Drelev (Blood for Blood).
I don’t have any problems with the background image. I may just be used to it perhaps.
I started kingmaker around this time last year. It was my first campaign on Obsidian Portal. it was supposed to be a fill in game whilst I got organised on some other games I had planned. Didn’t really pan out that way. I am probably two big sessions away from finishing which is exciting.
Obsidian portal really helped my group get into the campaign. The kingdom building rules were different and that coupled with the online resource made the game more immersive. One player said that the world felt like another player.
I found the supplemental material great and I pinched a hell of a lot of it to fill in details on the site. Read ahead in the modules to give yourself the oppotunity to seed and foreshadow different storylines. Finally i found using a spreadsheet to keep track of the kingdom building stats very useful. You can download one that someone else has built…which is what I did.
