Campaign Rules and Information
We are allowing initiates. However, all initiates in The Unit belong to the magical group Grillflame, a CIA run magic group. They have the Oath and Loyalty clause to the CIA, meaning that if they try to leave or violate orders, they lose their powers.
Quickening will not be allowed to apply to Ritual Magic. It was originally intended to allow permanent curses and such, but this rule could have been abused to create individuals with boosted stats of 42 in their physicals, effectively permanent.
Whatever resources the character has after creation will NOT be divided by 10. In addition to unspent equipment money, players still get 2d6x1000 in starting cash. High Lifestyle is covered by the CIA (assumed to be 120,000 a year salary).
Magical Equipment Prices
Magical Equipment will cost 10% of the prices listed in the book.
Vampires and Shapeshifters
Will be allowed, but cost 4 build points on the take ten chart for either of these races.
