I saw the plan forming, and to be honest I thought it was a good one. Lo-kag, Winslow and Ang are great fighters. Winslow’s faith is a huge asset versus the undead, and the sheer power of Lo-kag can cut any opponent down with one swing of his mighty two-handed axe. Ang was more of a swift, aglie whirlwind strikes to strike many at once. The Zhents found out just how skilled Ang truly was. It was truly amazing to see the three in action. Also with Deb raining arrows down from afar and Caldras burning every enemy in sight. It seemed like we were unstoppable.
I wasn’t even close to being a good a shot as Deb, but I did try my best to help the group.
But even a High sword couldn’t do what Ang tried to do.
Ang called the ghouls out, one would think this a bad idea but I have seen Ang fight in the past. It was his element, but even ones in their element can be overmatched. Poor Ang, I did my best to shoot every ghoul down but I was just not good enough. Lo-kag ran down off the hill in what I thought was a greater threat, he has his reasons I thought. The others tried to save Ang as well, to no avail. In my sixteen years I have never lost a friend. In one day with the Company of the Siren’s Song, I felt like I was their friend. Today, I lost a friend. Maybe I should head back to Longpine, I feel safer there with the Lycanthropes. I am not skilled enough be here, I am holding this group back.
