hideous worm
This strange specimen is one of Obscura’s newest acquisitions.

It was recently brought to Obscura from a farmer who found the worm near the fields of Southampton. He had noticed that his crops, like so many others also nearby, were dying. The farmer was plowing his fields when the blade hit something that felt like a large root. There were no roots nearby, so he stopped. When he looked he found this strange creature. As he knelt down to look at the squirming thing, another one came out of the ground and attacked. Luckily, the farmer had a pitchfork nearby and was able to kill the other worm. He took them both and sold them to Victor Allen Crawford III. Victor put them in a preserving liquid and sold them to Obscura.
