Gigantic castle

The castle and manor home of Lord Eric, Earl of Hampshire and his wife, Lady Margaret.

In late April of 1314, the self-appointed constable Reynard Ailemer took siege of Suffolk Manor and within two weeks had breached it’s walls. Reynard did not find Lord Eric and declared him a deserter of Hampshire while declaring himself Baron of Hampshire, the proper title of an English lord of this time.
