The protagonists grew up in a collective just outside Plainville, Kansas. They grew up as one big family and their parents raised them all together. It wasn’t always easy and sometimes they got weird looks from the townsfolk but overall life was good.

Dean Murphy and Karen Murphy

Dean works at the oil refinery plant and Karen works part time at the school library.

Charlie Lynn and Janet Lynn

Charlie and Janet both work with agriculture.

Alexander Moore and Nina Moore(deceased)

Alex works as a legal consult for various smalltime businesses around the area. Nina died in a mountain climbing accident about 10 years ago.

Martin Graves(deceased) and Dr Angela Graves

Angela works at the hospital. Martin Graves died from severe pneumonia almost 20 years ago.
