Brynn Attul was one of two priests of the Cathedral of the Cleaning Flame, the largest and most powerful Church of the Silver Flame in Sharn. The party discovered that Brynn was secretly the leader of a Cult of the Dragon Below, a cell that included Abbot Silas Hiram and acolyte Willam Loren, as well as other members of the Cathedral.

An Object Reading ritual cast upon Brynn’s cult necklace revealed that he had been initiated into the cult by Vestan ir’Simul, who was apparently himself a member of the cult.

Brynn was killed by the party when they infiltrated the cult during a ceremony in a dungeon beneath a mausoleum in the Dragon Crypts cemetery. Brynn was a human man in his late 30s, and was large, imposing figure, with a round, pig-nosed face that made him look like a grown-up version of a schoolyard bully. During his interrogation, before Jak slit his throat, Brynn spoke of Belashyrra like a father and spoke of the cult as though there was nothing the party could do to stop Belashyrra from being freed.
