Where We Game

Well, if I’m planning a game I may as well set up a wiki page so all the discussion I’m hoping for can be in one place.

My idea is to run a short campaign of Mage of perhaps three or four sessions. These would be probably a couple of months apart depending on people’s availability. The plan is to have the first session in October. But who knows?

Also, what period should it be set in? Although the Renaissance is the most promising, I’m currently in a game with that setting that’s about to come to a close and would rather avoid it. A modern-day setting would give the game a Heroes-like flavour and has the advantage of being familiar to people. A Victorian setting would be (I hope) full of atmosphere. How about a classy Roman game, or an Arabian Nights-style romp? Any other suggestions?
