This story line begins with Boltine, Hindrance, Captain Ultra, and The Humbler being contacted by Banshee. Banshee, Sean Cassidy tells them that they need to save Illyana Rasputin from East Germany. Not long after Banshee contacted the three heroes, Moira Mac Taggert told a contact of hers that he was needed to save Illyana Rasputin from East Germany. The heroes make it to West Berlin easily and have some trouble crossing the border, as robotic soldiers fly around the top of the wall. Boltine tries to sneak across in the cloud cover but is spotted and chased away.

Finally, the heroes decide to distract the soldiers by blasting a hole in the wall. This makes it so that the heroes can fly into East Germany without being harassed but it leads to the death of many East Germans as they try to escape through the gap. The East Germans patch the wall with the bodies of the escaping citizens that they mowed down with their weapons. The heroes find the location where Illyana had been taken to and make it to the location. Around this time Moira’s contact a man named Seth crosses through one of the checkpoints in the wall. He walks to the hotel that Illyana is at as the other three heroes make it to the top and bust in and try to fight Boomerang, Copperhead, Deadpool, and Rhino. Seth walks in as Boltine, Hindrance, Cpt. Ultra, and The Humbler fight the Rhino, Boomerang, and Copperhead. Seth sees Deadpool and asks Deadpool to take him to Illyana Deadpool happily leads the way to Illyana while Seth mentions that he will pay Deadpool. Which Deadpool replies that he thought he was doing it for free. Deadpool gives Illyana to Seth and says that now that he’s done that he is going to detonate the explosives he put around the building. Deadpool jumps out of the building and presses a detonator while Seth and Illyana easily escape. The rest of the heroes barely escape with Cpt. Ultra and The Rhino are crushed under the rubble. Rhino busts out of the rubble in good shape while Cpt. Ultra just barely manages to pull his bloody mangled body from the rubble.

Seth and Illyana start trying to save people from the rubble while Deadpool pulls himself from the hole in the asphalt he made when he smashed face first into the road below. Deadpool then proceeds to teleport away. Boltine, The Humbler, Hindrance, and Cpt. Ultra manage to defeat The Rhino but are then forced to flee from the East German police. While trying to escape the Germans fire missiles at them and Boltine and The Humbler manage to destroy theirs and Cpt. Ultra is able to avoid his. Hindrance is almost destroyed by hers. Until Cpt. Ultra flies down at the last second and pulls the missile away from her and turning it up into the air where it explodes leaving only scrapes of Cpt. Ultra’s costume left. The rest of the heroes make it to Ireland mourning the loss of their former ally.
