Medium Armor offers an increased level of protection, but also increases the movement penalties that affect weapon accuracy. This class of armor is usually only worn by military or police personnel, as it requires some strength and training to effectively maneuver in.

Note that armor suitable for Quarian use is rare. Armor noted as “Rare” on the list below is almost impossible to find.
