Areon is a member of the Council of Elders in Highmoor. He was on good terms with the late Bishop Irwin, and as such, Areon is who Bishop Brannigan turned to on the council when it came to their attention that Lord Garreth might have been behind the attack on Irwin. When they found evidence, Areon assisted in the investigation, and brought the charges against Garreth before the council.
