The party divides out the things they found to maximize the usefulness of the party. Koloth calls the wounded around him then channels positive energy to heal. After nearly using up a wand of cure light wounds, Koloth is able to heal the rest of the party to full. Walks with Winds casts a spell to help speed up Ghyffrey Aybara otherwise hopping. Flamburkkin takes the spine from one of the Froghemoths, cuts off the tentacle of the other Froghemoth, and finally shoves that onto the stump of Ghyffrey Aybara.

Walks with Winds examines the door on the far end of the room, discovering that its locked, which Grimmjur takes care of with a single mighty blow. Walks with Winds quickly examines the room beyond, checking for traps or other valuables. He finds several sacks of silver and several potions, but also a secret door beyond the table, finding two fire giants staring at them in the room beyond. Flamburkkin speaks with the fire giants, who reveal that they are leaving after looting several of the rooms. The two giants beat a hasty retreat, carrying several bags full of loot.

In the room beyond, Walks with Winds finds another secret door that leads to a room, which is slightly collapsed. The party backtracks to the room with the vrocks and examines the door the party previously ignored. Walks with Winds examines the door and finds that it is locked, which Master Gilnaeus solves by casting Knock from a scroll. Walks with Winds changes his form into that of an air elemental, then continues down the hallway to the door at the end of the hallway.

Walks with Winds examines the door at the end of the hallway and finds that it as well is locked then Master Gilnaeus unlocked with another of his knock scrolls.

Upon the door opening, the party is met by two huge figures just waiting for the party to show up. The Glabrezu offer the party a wish, in exchange for walking away, which the party declines. Walks with Winds moves backward out of the room, as Grimmjur steps forward and attacks the nearest Glabrezu hitting with a mighty blow. The other Glabrezu takes a step over then casts reverse gravity along the hallway, causing all of the party, except for Master Gilnaeus and Walks with Winds, to float towards the spiderwebs above.

Koloth concentrates on casting a spell and is able to cast fly on himself, then moves into the room. Caldin uses his boots to teleport to in front of the Glabrezu who cast the spell and prepares for his next move. The Glabrezu in front of Grimmjur starts attacking him, for a huge amount of damage. Ghyffrey Aybara casts resist energy on himself as he continues on toward the ceiling. Master Gilnaeus casts spider climb on Flamburkkin, who grabs onto the wall and moves forward to just above Walks with Winds.

Grimmjur rolls himself into the room, falling the rest of the way to the ceiling, righting himself when he gets there. Walks with Winds moves into the room and lands on the ground. He then casts stone shape to attempt to trap the nearest Glabrezu in place, but it fizzles out when it comes into contact with it. The Glabrezu in front of Caldin starts his attack, but is only able to hit with one attack for a small amount of damage.

Koloth moves backward so he’s directly below Grimmjur then casts cure serious wounds to heal him. Caldin starts his attack on the Glabrezu in front of him, hitting with one mighty blow to the chest, another mighty blow severing its leg at the ankle, another mighty blow to the creature’s right pincer severing it as well. The other Glabrezu takes a step forward and attacks Koloth, hitting him with every hit. The first blow taking the left testicle of Koloth and the other attacks continue to ruin his ability to procreate.

Ghyffrey Aybara casts freedom of movement on himself then moves towards the room the party is in. Flamburik moves forward into the room, opening himself to an attack from the Glabrezu, and prepares to attack the Glabrezu in front of Caldin. Master Gilnaeus moves forward slightly then casts a piercing dismissal on the nearest Glabrezu, however the Glabrezu is able to resist the spell. Master Gilnaeus calls out, “Leave now or I’ll send you to your home plane!”

Grimmjur takes a step forward then reaches down and is barely able to attack the Glabrezu below him for a large amount of damage. Walks with Winds takes a small step backwards and defensively casts a summoning spell. The Glabrezu in front of Caldin casts confusion defensively on Flamburkkin and Caldin, however Flamburkkin is able to resist the effects.

Koloth moves up slightly then casts heal on himself. Caldin rears back and punches himself in the face and a confused look appears on his face. The Glabrezu below Grimmjur starts attacking him, landing a mighty blow on Grimmjur remaining testicle and ripping the Minotaur into pieces with his remaining attacks. Ghyffrey Aybara, through another paladin’s sacrifice takes the damage that would have caused Grimmjur to lose his testicle, losing his own instead.

Ghyffrey Aybara casts a mass cure light wounds on Flamburkkin and Caldin, healing them for a minor amount of damage. Flamburkkin attacks the Glabrezu in front of Caldin, killing it with his second attack then turns his attention to the last Glabrezu dealing a moderate amount of damage to it. Master Gilnaeus casts disintegrate at the remaining Glabrezu and able to overcome its spell resistance and destroy the creature.

Walks with Winds finishes his summoning, bringing a good outside in, who starts to heal Grimmjur, before leaving. Koloth channels positive energy to heal the party’s wounds. Master Gilnaeus gives Grimmjur several potions of cure light wounds, which Grimmjur immediately drinks. The remaining damage the party had is cured through a wand of cure light wounds.

The body of one Glabrezu disappears once it was killed as if it were a summoned creature. Walks with Winds examines the room for treasure and traps, finding a trap and a small treasure chest. Master Gilnaeus uses knock on the chest, which causes a jet of green slime to come from the chest, eating the stone floor on contact.

The party gathers the loot and distributes it so as to best help the party. As the party gets close to the next room, they hear the chanting more clearly and the pace picks up. Walks with Winds examines the door to the room, looking for traps. The party hears, nearly every 6 seconds, a loud scream. The party prepares for what they expect to see beyond the door, casting spells and doing other preparations.

Master Gilnaeus casts knock to open the door, revealing what appears to be a general store room with a heavy iron portcullis on the other side of the room. Koloth moves forward to Caldin and casts shield of faith on him. Caldin rushes forward to the portcullis and notices that there also appears to be magical force effect in place. Caldin swings at the portcullis, but is unable to affect it due to the magical force around the bars.

The guards on the other side of the portcullis call out in infernal, “We got company boss.” Flamburkkin rushes forward to stand in front of the portcullis while Master Gilnaeus moves forward and casts enlarge on Grimmjur, who rushes forward to the door. Ghyffrey Aybara slowly hobbles his way forward to the rest of the party. Koloth casts divine favor on himself, then moves forward to the portcullis. Walks with Winds casts death ward on Flamburkkin, who waits along the wall. Master Gilnaeus moves forward and casts disintegrate on the force effects around the bars while more screams are heard from beyond.

Grimmjur steps forward and takes the bottom of the portcullis pulling it upward, slamming it into the ceiling and wedges it into place there. Ghyffrey Aybara moves forward so he’s finally with the party as Caldin moves forward to the guards on the other side. The guard on the other side takes several shots at Grimmjur, hitting him with both attacks for a small amount of damage.

Caldin starts attacking the guard in front of him, but his attack is displaced. Koloth moves forward to beside Caldin and attacks the same guard, hitting him for a minor amount. The grave guard starts attacking Koloth, hitting him with both attacks and one of the blows hitting him in the neck. Flamburkkin moves forward into the room, as he does so a figure beyond yells out, “Hurry up! Hurry up!” and attacks the other grave night dealing a moderate amount of damage to it.

Walks with Winds moves forward into the room behind Flamburkkin as more screams are heard. The invisible Master Gilnaeus moves forward, over the guard’s head, then lands and hides behind a treasure chest in the corner of the room. Master Gilnaeus notices that one of the figures on the altar locked eyes with him. Grimmjur steps up to the entryway of the portcullis and attacks one of the knights, but his attack is displaced.

The other grave knight take a small step forward and attacks Koloth, hitting with one attack that does a large amount of damage. Ghyffrey Aybara moves forward slightly then casts cure light wounds on Koloth through greater status. Several more grave knights show up on the other side of the doorway. Caldin starts attacking the grave knight in front of him, hitting with two attacks that do a moderate amount of damage and his final two manage to slice the creature into pieces.

Koloth takes a small step backward and channels positive energy to heal himself and those around him. Flamburkkin starts attacking the grave knight in front of him, but misses with three of his attacks and hits with a final attack for a moderate amount of damage. Walks with Winds starts to cast a summoning spell, while Master Gilnaeus casts a resilient sphere around the one remaining dominated figure by the flaming pits, preventing him from leaping to its death.

Grimmjur starts attacking the nearest grave knight, but is only able to hit with one of his attacks for a moderate amount of damage. The grave knight steps forward and starts attacking Koloth, hitting him twice and dropping him to the ground. Ghyffrey Aybara casts cure moderate wounds through status on Koloth, then casts another casting of the spell through his combat healing experience. The two newly arrived grave knights drink potions from their belts and another of the creatures on the altar dispels Master Gilnaeus resilient sphere and knocks the figure into the pit.

The death knight looks right at Master Gilnaeus, pulls a charm from a bracelet and throws it towards Master Gilnaeus, calling out, “Get him Nessy!” After the last figure falls into the pit, the whole room starts to shake. Master Gilnaeus knows this creature to be like the chaos spawns he fought previously. The figures on the platform appear to be doing everything they can to contain the power.

Caldin attacks the grave knight in front of him, but is only able to hit with one attack for a moderate amount of damage. Koloth channels positive energy to heal himself for a moderate amount of damage. Flamburkkin takes a small step to block the doorway and attacks the grave knight on the other side of the doorway. With several hits, Flamburkkin is able to impale one of them on his sword, but is unable to kill any of the creatures.

Walks with Winds finishes summoning, bringing in an air elemental just behind Flamburkkin and starts attacking the grave knight next to Caldin, hitting with only one attack, killing it with a critical hit. As the grave knight dies, he lets out a cone of cold energy at Flamburkkin, the newly arrived air elemental, and Walks with Winds. Flamburkkin and Walks with Winds are unable to avoid the damaging effects. Walks with Winds moves to the center of the room and starts to cast another summoning spell.

The huge summoned creature attacks Master Gilnaeus, but only manages to destroy an image as Master Gilnaeus moves to the other side of the creature and attempts to banish the creature, but the creature is able to resist the effect.

Grimmjur picks Ghyffrey Aybara up and carries him into the other room, placing him next to Koloth. Ghyffrey Aybara channels positive energy to heal the party of a moderate amount of damage.

The grave knights in the other room step into the doorway and attack Flamburkkin, hitting him with several attacks for a moderate amount of damage. Master Gilnaeus hears one of the figures on the platform cast stone skin on himself, while the room continues to shake and black smoke emerge from the two pits. The death knight looks around and says, “Where is he?” they all look at each other for a long moment, then two of the three figures on the platform point to the third figure, then casts him into the pit as well. The death knight calls out, “Secure the heart.” and moves towards the party.

The giant chaos creature rushes towards Master Gilnaeus with a mighty strike at his vital organs, but it sinks its teeth into one of the mage’s images.

Caldin waits for an opening while Koloth starts to cast a summoning spell. Flamburkkin starts attacking the grave knights in front of him, but all of his attacks are displaced or just misses and takes a step to the side.

Caldin, seeing the opening, moves forward into the opening and attacks the grave knight in front of him and is able to hit the creature for a moderate amount of damage. Walks with Winds finishes his summoning and brings another air elemental into the next room. The newly arrived elemental starts spinning around, kicking up dust and other debris, blocking vision all around it.

Master Gilnaeus casts a spell to move through space away from the creature, then casts charm monster on the chaos creature, which is unaffected by it. Grimmjur squeezes through the doorway and into the open place in the room beyond. Ghyffrey Aybara moves over to Flamburkkin and lays his healing hands on him to cure some of his damage. Flamburkkin is attacked by one of the grave knights getting hit with every attack and a mighty blow to his neck. The other grave knight attacks Caldin and is only able to hit him with one attack for a minor amount of damage.

One of the figures on the platform flies down to beside the treasure and drops an intensified fireball in the dust cloud area. The death knight walks forward and points at Master Gilnaeus and commands, “Die!” However the scarab of protection worn by Master Gilnaeus absorbs the attack for him. The other figure on the platform flies forward towards Master Gilnaeus and lets loose a lightning bolt at him, however it does not affect him.

Nessy lets loose a volley of attacks on the air elemental in front of it, killing it handily and disperses the winds. Koloth finishes summoning his spell, bringing in a celestial elephant, which calls a smite on Nessy then starts his attacks, missing with all his attacks. Koloth casts dispel and is able to rid the grave knight of the displacement. Caldin starts attacking the grave knight lacking displacement, hitting it with all of his attacks and an exceptionally mighty blow to the creature’s chest, cutting it in half. With the grave knight’s redying action, it lets loose a cone of cold on the bulk of the party. With his final swing, Caldin is able to hit the final grave knight for a moderate amount of damage.

The last air elemental turns into whirlwind mode and moves into the other room, stopping just above the death knight. Walks with Winds turns into a whirlwind as well and moves into the other room just behind his air elemental. Master Gilnaeus moves a ways behind the celestial elephant and uses his staff to cast disintegrate on the remaining grave knight, causing it to turn to dust.

Grimmjur squeezes through the doorway, opening himself up for an attack from Nessy which misses, and continues into the room behind walks. Ghyffrey Aybara walks into the room behind the celestial elephant and channels positive energy to heal the party around him and not Nessy. Master Gilnaeus is targeted with a feeble mind spell one of the Lich and fails, that triggers one of his contingencies which allows him to retain him mindfulness. The death knight attacks the air elemental above him, killing it with his first attack and clearing the air of dust and debris.

Nessy starts attacking the celestial elephant in front of it, killing the creature and causing it to disappear. Nessy then starts to move forward, but Grimmjur is able to prevent it from moving forward towards Ghyffrey Aybara. The other lich launches a volley of magic missiles at Walks with Winds, but is unable to hit due to the dust and debris. Koloth moves over to beside Caldin and casts cure critical wounds, while Caldin springs forward to attack Nessy with a powerful attack, then springs back to be just in front of Ghyffrey Aybara.

Walks with Winds flies straight up towards the ceiling then casts baleful polymorph on Nessy, but is unable overcome the creature’s spell resistance. Master Gilnaeus moves down the wall towards the far door and casts disintegration on the lich closest to him. Master Gilnaeus is able to pierce his spell resistance, but the lich is able to resist the effects and only takes a moderate amount of damage.

Grimmjur starts attacking Nessy, but misses with all but one attack for a minor amount of damage. Ghyffrey Aybara casts a blade barrier down the room, just in front of Nessy and the death knight, but is unable to affect Nessy with the barrier. The more powerful lich casts an empowered disintegrate at Ghyffrey Aybara, but he is able to resist the effect then casts magic missiles at him as well. The death knight dispels the blade barrier stating, “I kill paladin’s like nothing. I’m coming for you.” Nessy lets out an acidic breath weapon on the majority of the party.

The other lich casts a spell at Walks with Winds, hitting him with a thin green ray and Walks with Winds resists part of the effects. Koloth steps forward between Caldin and Ghyffrey Aybara and casts communal resist acid on the three of them, while Caldin takes a small step forward and starts attacking Nessy hitting with a mighty blow.

Walks with Winds attempts to cast a flame strike at Nessy, but is unable to overcome its spell resistance. Master Gilnaeus casts a maximized piercing disintegrate at Nessy and is able to overcome its spell resistance, but the creature is able to resist some of the effects. Grimmjur starts attacking Nessy hitting with all but one of his attacks for a large amount of damage. Ghyffrey Aybara channels positive energy twice to heal all those around him, except for Nessy.

The more mighty of the lichs moves over to Nessy and casts displacement on it. Walks with Winds is the target of three scorching rays from the other Lich, hitting him with every ray for a large amount of damage. The death knight moves forward to be just in front of Ghyffrey Aybara. Nessy starts attacking Caldin , hitting him with several of its attacks but in her eagerness to devour the human, she over-extends herself and misses so bad that it gave Caldin an opening to attack. Caldin swings with all his might conncting the point of his blade underneath Nessy’s chin and driving it through her brain killing her. The death knight wails in anguish and calls out, “Nessy NOOOO!”

Koloth moves next to Caldin and casts a cure spell on him, healing him for a minor amount of damage. Caldin takes a small step forward to the death knight and starts attacking him, landing a mighty blow to the neck of the knight, severing his head from his body. Walks with Winds moves over to the platform and looks around briefly, while Master Gilnaeus unleashes another disintegrate at the lich across from him, triggering one of the lich’s contingency bringing forth several images, one of which Master Gilnaeus destroys.

Grimmjur moves forward and attacks the lich in front of Master Gilnaeus, landing a mighty blow on it. One of the lichs quickens a disintegration and casts it at Koloth, who is able to resist some of the effect, then both lichs teleport out of the room.

The party starts to examine the room for treasure and other things in the room. Upon the platform, the party finds the four foot black Balor heart, which Master Gilnaeus offers to take care of. The party then turns their attention to finding treasure in the room.
