ALAND

The Western Continent, Aland is mostly wild, with vast, sprawling forests and valleys filled with strange creatures. The northern and northeastern coasts are settled primarily by Elves, whose Dukedoms keep the peace and hold the wilds at bay. In the far northwest and spread out in small pockets through the closer wildernesses are many tribes of Orcs.

FAROE

The Central ‘Continent’ of Faroe is comprised of many large and small islands spread out in the seas between and north of the Aland and Svalbard. These islands comprise the largest range of safe and civilized lands left in Midgard, and are home in particular to Halflings and the Fey races. Here peace generally rules, and most islands have their own loose systems of government.

SVALBARD

The Eastern Continent, Svalbard, is the harshest of the three nations. It is a foreboding and bleak spread of wastelands, deserts, rocky mountain ranges and sprawling ruins. Here the hardier races, particularly the Dwarves and Dragonborn, have established many frontier cities and towns, settlements where the loosely organized law enforcement responds to trouble of any kind with swift and arbitrary force. To the south and east, nomadic caravans of the Goliath peoples move restlessly amongst the rocks and ruins.
