The Mutoid fighting scene is the largest commercial market to exist. The amount of equipment and merchandise available is staggering and also unfamiliar to anyone not raised around the pamphlets and commercials explaining them. The following is the most common and reliable equipment used to rear Mutoids in the Morphogenetic Age.

Mutamon Chemicals
The medicine used to help Mutamon keep on fighting. These compounds are all based off of morphogenetic technology and have been found to be highly toxic to non Mutoid lifeforms. Mutoid chemicals, as a rule, employ a process of instigating cellular regeneration of specific sections and organs inside the animal. These processes involve a concoction of programmed cells and organisms that are usually coupled with an energy delivery system. The use of energy cells and living organisms leave most Mutamon chemicals with \a shelf live of approximately one year. The injection systems, for chemicals that use them, is disposable and can be brought to any store that sells Mutamon chemicals or any I.M.L. sponsored facility to be recycled and disposed of. The I.M.L. recycling policy is to reward a trainer with a free chemical of their choice for returning a set amount of empties.

First and Second Aid
A chemical mixture that energizes Mutoid metabolism and promotes the body to quickly cycle through cell growth and replacement. The injection system resembles a slender white metal tube with a red cross emblazoned on it, in the case of a second aid there is a large black “2” overlapping it. The end has a depressable tip that extends a needle from the other end and releases the chemical mixture in controlled bursts. A cutaway in the middle of the cylinder opposite the logo side reveals how much fluid is left in the syringe and is broken down into segments for easy reading.

Pep and Vim
A chemical mixture that is designed to refresh and rejuvenate a Mutoids biological systems. The injection system is a small white half sphere, the size of a mandarin orange, with a grip on its rounded end. The words “Vim” or “Pep” are written in bold purple letters along its dome side. By squeezing three depressible buttons in the hand groove a set of small needles protrude from the flat underbelly and inject the chemical in controlled bursts. A circle of small LEDs on the underside indicate much fluid is left in the device.

Panacea
This chemical is used for neutralizing poisons and can be applied to both Mutoids and natural animals such as humans. Panacea is actually a series of in a range of intensity, from Panacea I to Panacea X. The injection system is shaped like a bright purple Otoscope with large white letters spelling out “PANACEA” down the handle along with a roman numeral indicating its degree of intensity. The handle contains a two section plastic tube that is removed from the inside of the handle. The end that goes into the injection system first contains a saline water mixture while the other end is empty. They are separated by a plastic wall. When using Panacea the user must: take out the plastic tube, open the empty end, get as much of the poison or venom as possible into the empty end, seal that end, put the tube back into the handle, depress the “Prepare” button on the injector (this causes the middle separator wall to be broken and the saline and venom to mix), shake the device and finally put the nozzle end against the victims skin and press “Inject” ( this forces the venom-saline mix through a filter that turns the mixture into a detoxifying solution.). Panacea’s only have one use to them and should be disposed of afterwords.

Mutoid Database Uplink
The MDU is a series of technologies that could only have emerged from the internet age. Basically a tool used to quickly identify a Mutoid by searching through online databases. In the beginning the MDU had no official name: it was a series of cobbled together modifications to cell phones supported by online communities and streaming video sites. A trainer would film the targeted Mutoid, enter a bit of information and the uplink would use advanced recognition software to scour the various websites for matching information. Often this would return videos of that particular Mutoid from previous fights alongside comments and blog postings. The commercial devices work in much the same way. Now with cutting edge technology, integrated social networking and massive funding making it the most reliable recognition system on the market. Able to be bought as upgrade kits for modern wireless devices and cellphones or entire hand held machines solely devoted to Mutoid identifying can be acquired. Many of the dedicated MDU machines come in a variety of colourful and appealing shapes including the ever chic and popular thin red rectangle with computer synthesized voice.
