With so many campaigns over with in 6 months, it is so cool to see a campaign that is well crafted last this long. I read the logs regularly, and I am finally caught up. Great job!

Flatscan, I always look forward to seeing your updates. This site is still the model for my wiki.

I see now why this page has so many fans. Very well done. As a fan of all things Howard, I am very much enjoying the read through. I will be certain to take notes for future campaigns of my own. Hell I might even make use of some of your ideas for a holodeck adventure in my Star Trek campaign. Keep up the good work and I will keep reading.

The site is nicely made with a Conan atmosphere and your adventure log is very enjoyable, a true story rather than a list of events. Congratulations and do game on!

Hey, guys. Are recent updates a sign of a soon-to-be restart of the campaign?

I’m not familiar with this system, and not sure of the reasoning behind this, but if the modifiers work the same way they do in D&D then shouldn’t Cuana’s STR mod be +6? I could be wrong >.<

Great looking site Flatscan! Love the art. I’m impressed you got so much player contribution in the form of journals.

We should have tried to topple one of the columns into their ranks – I bet that could have worked. Would have been quite conanesque too. Note to self to not overlook anymore tactical exploits.

geez….it’s awfully quiet around here considering we’re coming up on the final session in this chapter, a session in which we’re likely going to try to metaphorically kick an evil god in the balls and send him crying back to whatever hell or prison normally holds him.

if I remember correctly, the time of the Hyborean Kingdoms was set approximately five thousand years after the sinking of Atlantis and about three thousand years before the rise of China…..give or take a couple thousand years here or there. the chronological Howard/DeCamp-Carter-Nyberg pastiche paperbacks all have a map of Conan’s time with a drawing of present day Europe & Asia superimposed on it. that would be an approximation too because it’s also supposed that the lands that were Cimmeria broke off after a cataclysm and became Ireland (and possibly England as well) and at least part of the pictish lands broke away and became a part of North America.

On August 01, 2008 at 01:27 AM Flatscan said:

The Hyborian Age is pre-recorded history. Between the time when the oceans drank Atlantis and the Rise of the sons of Aryas. ;-)

I never realized that the world of Thurain was basically earth… Is the idea that Conan basically lived in a post-apocalyptic earth? I’ve never read the stories so please excuse my ignorance.

This campaign is looking pretty sweet. The use of art and such everywhere makes such a big difference. If only I wasn’t so pathetic with photoshop and such.

Use as little Textile as possible. Unfortunately, not all HTML works on this site, but the bits of HTML that do work tend to work better than their Textile equivalent. You can use my sites as examples of what is possible and decide for yourself if they are examples of what to do or what not to do. ;)

Shackled City

Shadowfell

Since you’re a player in Shadowfell, you can even look at the code I use to format the pages. Explodinator can be of some assistance in this area if you invite him to the Nemedian Chronicles campaign. He’s played around with creating wiki pages on OP a bit.

Well, wikidot.com hasn’t proven to be too useful. And yahoo groups were never that great. Gonna see if this yields better results. Any tips?
