On the streets in the morning, Boris is attacked from an alley in daylight and wounded to the arm; Mary is sure assailant was a vampire. At the hospital at Commission base, Dougal asks for explanation of incident.

Summary:

Fanny visits Wallis in what is obviously a regular notes-comparison exercise on movements in the vampire community. Wallis probes Fanny’s interest in the eternal life of a vampire.

  • Fanny: Does the news of new breed vampires provoke a reaction from Wallis? (no)
  • Producer: Does Fanny admit she’s more interested in vampire way of life than in weaknesses? (yes)

Sewerage tunnel mouth

The combined teams conduct a raid on a vampire nest.

Summary:

Mary and Fanny wait at sewer mouth as the sounds of fierce battle draw closer. Fanny monitors instruments and prepares weapons, Mary prepares vision enhancement goggles. The battle breaks from the tunnel and bursts onto the beach, but Mary is distracted by three cloaked figures watching from the cliff top with a red aura in her vision.
Stakes:
  • Boris: Does my performance in the battle impress MacAllister? (yes)
  • Producer: Is Mary physically prevented from revealing her vision to the Commission? (no)

Scene 7

Boris muses about the events of the episode.

Summary:

Boris changes his bandages but realises the wound is already closed. He flashes back to russia with uncle Vlad, who discusses a prophecy of the vampires.

  • Boris: Do I deny the significance of the prophecy in light of these changes? (no)
  • Producer: Does Boris recognise the prophecy speaks of current events? (yes)

Teaser

Location:Wallis’s lair entrance
Agenda:New breed confront Wallis.

Summary:Wallis returning to his lair is ambushed at the entrance by a smaller figure, who overpowers him and drags him away saying “Now we’re going to have a little chat”.
