Beastlord gained his powers during an accident while investigating the strange goings-on at the Wired Alchemy facility in India. The facility was destroyed and he foiled their plot to excavate a seemingly mystical power source from an ancient Indian Temple.

With the help of Graham Tyson, Beastlord began looking into Wired Alchemy operations in the United States. He uncovered a program where Wired Alchemy was experimenting on convicted criminals, granting them bio-enhancements in the form of regeneration and wings. One of the experimentees (Raptor) is now working with Beastlord to fight against Wired Alchemy.

Now aware of the threat presented by Beastlord, Wired Alchemy has attempted to recapture Raptor and kill both Beastlord and Graham Tyson.

The threat Wired Alchemy represents has expanded, however. It appears that they are owned by Dassenbrenner, a global conglomerate with deep pockets. Fearing what they could do to them, Beastlord has sought to create a foundation aimed at fighting such large conglomerate evil.

But perhaps he is too late. The forces of Wired Alchemy have managed to fracture the group, put them on the run and Graham in the hospital.

Still the team does not know their plans – just a codeword: Valkyrie.
