Numenhalla

Huginn is of light and sun and thought, his brother Muninn of the moist, dark, memory. Birthed from ever-changing Hera, daughter/mother of Tethys. They fly cross the entire world and tell Typhon of all knowledge in the Logos and Gis.

This is a tale of their birth.

" Once, the brothers clambered down into a smoke-filled cavern, while on their way to the house of Typhon. Within this cave they met the weaver of logos, Tethys. She said to them, ‘for my father/son to accept you, you will face many dangers. I give you these quills. One subdues your foes, the other will protect you from harm.’

" Later, when they reached the palace of Typhon, they were bundled and stowed in a canoe upon the sea.

" Upon his return he found them, and pulled them free to test their strength. First he dashed them among the rocks and the quill kept them safe. Then he set them against the Daemons of the Logos, and they used their quill to subdue the foes. Finally, angry that they had passed his tests, he breathed a foul vapor upon them, which their friend Ratatoskr had warned them of. They ate the acorn of Yggdrasil and survived.

" Having survived his tests, Typhon claimed them as his son, making them of the nine who were eleven. They told Typhon of the Asura, monsters that roam within the svartalfheim, come from Vanaheim and other corruption. Typhon armed them, making them his servants and they walked the halls, killing those who had corrupted the sons of his sons. "
