A far-flung, loose knit society operating primarily from within the Collegium, The Open Wayfarers and many of the professional guilds, the Librarians act upon the principals that knowledge is power and information a valuable commodity. If you know who to ask, information regarding virtually any topic of interest can be had for a price. Cells as such operate largely independent of each other in determining objectives and areas of investigation, each developing its own assets as suits its requirements. Consequently cells and their agents may readily find themselves working at cross purposes or in competition with each other at various times. Organization and structure are minimal and hierarchy mostly arises of its own accord by virtue of who has knowledge of and can make greatest use of the most information. While predominantly concerned with profit and power brokering, among the more sagacious members a broad spectrum of obscure private agendas naturally develops as a result of personal inclination acting upon their comprehension of much that remains hidden to the rest of the world. In spite of their lack of cohesive unity, taken as a whole they operate what amounts to easily the single largest known intelligence network in the world both in terms of number of agents and geographic scope.
