From the journal of Nicolas Hauxworth,
Never a dull moment with this group! Just when we were thinking about getting some well deserved shuteye more of those nefarious gnolls showed up. No doubt returning home from their latest plundering expedition. I decided to take the first watch, my companions have the advantage of low light vision so I must reley on Sehanine’s light.
Being the clever person that I am I shouted a word of warning to my mates and fired a series of vollies at the dog men. Though it seems that I under estimated my foe as the return of arrows that slated into me was enough to send me tumbling over the edge of the parapet battered and bruised. Luckily we had a wall of magical horses to block the onslaught of a fierce demonic gnoll, true they did lose their life(if they had one) but their noble sacrifice saved ours. The demonic bitch literally kicked Torin and Kildrak around, and sending them flying multiple times. It didn’t help that the curs had a babu assassin working for them. We quickly lost our advantage in the tower and were facing pincer attack. However once Eridan was able to clear the door way himself and I were able to quickly rout the remaining gnolls…..though the demon dog did take quite a pounding.
Well hopefully the remainder of the evening is uneventful. I know that I could have a good night’s sleep.
