The kingdom had been sentenced to turmoil. Whilst the King denied the threat of Andrakasis and the Princess hid in her chambers, the Queen directed all of her resources to finding the witch. After months of searching she found him in the eastern town of Barda, where he had discovered that the Mayor was secretly the summoner Malayek. He sought to use Malayek to open a portal to draw a devil’s army from the other world.

Travelling to Barda, the group followed an unsure trail to Evergreen. At Evergreen the inhabitants of the small town have been bound in a living arch of flesh over a great circle of dimensional portal in the courtyard of the nearby monk’s abbey. As the devils rushed through (feasting on the live humans forming the arch), the group is forced to hide and flee leaving a portal open with evil spewing forth into the world.
