He high-tails it, and the investigators decide to head to the Casa de Diaz. After killing the guard dogs, the team almost makes it inside, but gets shot at by a terribly wounded Climaco. They gun him down and Douglas has a brief, hallucination-instigated fit, inspired in part by Climaco’s additional — vestigial? — limbs.)
