Quick trip to the Market
The clear starry night begins with a trip to the Goblin Market. Olivetti wants to spend his golden goblin coins and Tyler, Deep Throat, Grant, and Sand are eager to join him. The trip isn’t as engaging as their last visit and the four only spend a brief time before leaving. Fey time is a bit loose however and an hour in the goblin market turns out to be three hours lost outside. The coterie exits the market through a dirty alley full of smoke from a garbage can fire burning wet trash. Once free of the fey’s enchantment they find their phones buzzing insistently with stored messages. All from Meir it turns out. He wants to meet with them again. Never a good sign.

Incriminating Video
At the St. Augustine church the coterie once again meets with Meir. Jin Li stands just inside the church stone faced and not even acknowledging the group as they pass by him. Inside the back office Tajana Brokov sits intently tapping at a desktop computer when they enter. Meir rises from a large polished desk to greet them. The sheriff expressed his displeasure that he has wasted half his evening waiting for them and his annoyance increases when he notes that Rowana is not with the coterie. “Apparently she feels that wandering the city speaking with dogs is more important than meeting with the Prince’s sheriff.”

Meir breaks the uncomfortable silence that follows when he turns his desk’s computer monitor towards them. With a tap he starts a video playing. Despite the dark club and somewhat poor resolution it doesn’t take a second to recognize the interior of the Oracle. The video centers in on a messy fight on the dance floor and Tyler recognizable in his biker leathers is visible slashing at a shirtless screaming man. A red circle on screen draws the viewers’ attention to his extended vampiric claws as well as those of the brood leader. Meir snaps off the video and faces down the gathered kindred. “You have a serious problem.” He turns to from one to the other meeting their gaze. “Get this off the internet and find and dispose of the person who posted this.” The coterie asks a few questions and learns from Brokov that the video was likely shot from a camera phone. The website hosting the video is popular with conspiracy theorists and supernatural investigators. She has been monitoring it for some time and believes it may be directly connected to Network Zero, a dangerous hunter collective whose aim is to gather information on the supernatural and expose the threat to the general populace.

The Angel of Truth
Dismissed by Meir the coterie heads over to Edee’s place to ask for help. Edee agrees on condition she gets to interview the poster once caught. With Edee’s equipment and support they are able to hack into the system posing as another well known user called Ghoster42. They gather a handful of details and leave shortly before the sky begins to lighten. Edee tells them she will take care of wiping the video from the website. Deep beneath the earth Sand uses the daylight hours to plug into the offending website and posing as Ghoster42 flatters the Angel and asks to meet with her tonight. She responds that she will be at three parties that night and describes her costume as a devil with tail. She challenges him to find her and the two decide on a password, something from the poet Byron.

The coterie gathers early that night and sets out to search the three parties. At the first party they find a young mage probably not even old enough to drink and Grant attracts the angry attention of a grizzled hunter. When it becomes apparent the Angel of Truth isn’t going to show they move on to the location of the second party, an all night bowling alley. Fondly reminiscing of his mortal years Deep Throat can’t resist a game while Sand finds the whole atmosphere distasteful. Before long Grant identifies the likely Angel and tries the Byron line out on her. She doesn’t respond and he isn’t sure he has the right woman but introduces her to ‘his friend’ Sand nonetheless. Seeing the grotesque nosferatu the Angel heads for the door and Sand tails after her distractedly mistyping texts to the others to follow as he tries to keep up. Outside she tries to catch a cab but is interrupted by Sand who orders her to stop and talk awhile. Becoming more frantic she struggles and breaks Sand’s commanding gaze but doesn’t get far before she is set upon by the rest of the coterie. Deep Throat dismisses outsiders with a fake FBI badge and the vampires throw the Angel of Truth into their car and drive off.

The coterie takes her to her own apartment where with a dose of mind control and mind searching she gives up the controls to her computer. Deep Throat logs in and begins collecting data which Sand and Grant immediately want copies of. They are able to confirm the Angel of Truth is working loosely with Network Zero which sets off a debate on whether it is more ethical to mind wipe her or ghoul her. The matter is eventually tabled to be presented to the Prince. The most alarming thing Deep Throat discovers is that the video was leaked to the Angel by none other than Meir himself. Everyone agrees this information certainly needs to go to the Prince. Meanwhile Edee is called over and arriving takes to the computer nearly salivating. Not long after the computers are loaded into Edee’s car and driven off as the coterie decides what to do with the girl.
