the Family

The Family allegedly started as a literal family, one of some power and a certain tendency towards ruthlessness. Over time, their interests – initially loans and security (or, as they like to call it, protection) diversified into drugs, gambling, and other profitable activities. As their interests grew, so did their membership – most members of the Phyle these days aren’t biological members of the original family – many aren’t even halflings.

  • phyle badge: The Family tend to keep their badges hidden most of the time, but wear the image of a wineglass somewhere surreptitious, where they can expose it if necessary.
