The Mutual Defense Co-Operative is the phyle for the rest of us. Most of the phyles are looking for exceptional people to join their membership – and not just any exceptional people – you have to be their kind of exceptional people. Well, most of us aren’t that. And so it was that over a millenium ago, three humans, a gnome, and two halflings decided to stand up for the little people for a change.
