The Way of Brass

While some see the Way of Brass as merely a compendium of superstitions, the devout know that observance of the many small rituals enshrined by the Way (always entering a room with the right foot first, carrying lucky charms (often made of brass), avoiding black cats and the number 13, and many others) results in supernatural protection. The many practices of the Way have accumulated over time, and are found itemised in a book known as The Compendium.

  • cleric training: The clergy keep their eyes open for the unusually lucky, and attempt to bring them into the Way. Training is mostly concerned with memorization of chapters of the Compendium.
