A treaty hammered out between the town of Riverside and the Black Spider goblin tribe with the assistance of Ssudah Mau Makan and his fellows, Drostan, Jerimiah Stormbow, Silance, and Teremia.

Terms of the Agreement

• Riverside will be able to maintain a small military presence in or near the black spider village under observance from the temple of Erathis.
• Riverside will provide military protection to the goblin city.
• The goblins will pay a reasonable tax to the city of Riverside for facilitating trade with the city and further up the river.
• A series of crimes and appropriate punishments were agreed upon.
  • Destroyed property should be replaced along with additional monetary recompense made if warranted.
  • Harming someone will be punished with public flogging and community service for the victim’s settlement.
  • In the event of murder, the perpetrator’s village will be responsible for the well-being of the victim’s family.
• The temple of Erathis where the meeting took place, which sits in a place once known as Iathenum, will be rebuilt with help from both communities, and yearly meetings will take place on the same day to renew the alliance and work out problems.
