Here are a list of our games and a brief descriptions of each one.
Rockin rollin space adventure. The basic permise is the end of the human empire has happened and the Uss Sanctuary is the last suriving warship. Its job is to protect the human fleet and what they belive to be the last human survivors. Inside you will find exotic aliens, siniser plots, powered armor, energy weapons and high tech firearms. Here you can be just about anything fighter pilot, doctor, sniper, or just a plain old accountant. Granted to do any of those things you would have to be crazy and here crazy is manditory.
Name one person who does not like zombies. OK my wife but shes wierd. If you like zombies then this is the game for you. Diffrent zombie types, surivial the requires you to drink water eat and sleep. Crazed survivors and a shadowy agencys trying to track down one man. The man with the cure to the world or the path to power to take over the world. BE anyone or anything. Ever wanted to know if a stupid jock or the smart scrwny dentist could surivie the zombie infestation? This is your chance to discover that.
OCP Security Services
Unrestrained commerce in the near future where magic, borgs, psionics all live in a world where mega corps are the force ruling the earth. Players represent the security services an elite force that enforce corperate policy, do intelligence and counter intelligence operations, and invesitigate crimes against employees. Its a play by post adventure of a life time.
Currently dead due to a lack of interest
A more organic character driven story set in the post apolcalitic wilderness of rifts north america. Right now there are 5 survivors walking the roads of rifts earth all looking for a place to call home. Displaced from the war in Tolkeen these travelers can be observed as the walk the broken road.
The Game Systems we use
- This is the one we started with its a plladium system that has been house ruled to all hell. Why uh because i thought it was broken the other way. Anyway we are not playing this system much right now, but we played it for over a year in the past.
- Traveling the verse in the Din Swa Bob was one of the best things i have ever gmed. The system is not hard to learn and is fun to play. Nothing bette than being with friends out in the verse duct taping spiked balls to midgets helmets while fighting reaver in space. Thats not a joke.
- It’s an ok system. But unless you wanted to slow the game down to check the books, it requires a LOT of improv on the part of the GM. Players complained at the table saying 4E is weird, players sent me messages of how it just wasn’t for them, I found it easier to improv monsters rather than use their actual stats, and in all honesty we’re probably not going to use this system again.
GM’s Rating: 5/10
- A initally simple (only need 2 d10) but layered system to add more complexity for the harder core players. This system was the brain child of a bored best buy employee. Why because I was fucking bored! There are a few hard and fast rules like low is good highn is bad and death can come on swift wings. Best things about the system is that you can make just about anything. Players are rewarded with good role playing and ingiuity. It can lend itself to pigion hole or munchin gamers on SKILLS (like a doctor that knows just baout everything about medicine) but that can lead them to being a one shot pony. Trying to munchkin combat tends to get people killed for over confidence.
