Chapter 4
So Crete.
First of all, getting there was a living hell for me. For some reason, the idea of not having solid ground underneath my feet is terrifying. But at least, this time I managed to actually to use the moonbridge.
The Black Furies were exactly what I expected them to be. They were willing to allow our alpha to stay there, provided he handed over his claive. This, ofcourse, was done in hope of him saying he was going to stay somewhere else. And it worked. All our male packmembers were going to stay in a hotel or something.
And apparently one of our new ahrouns found this time ideal to test his boundaries. He started acting up and throwing tantrums. As it’s not my place to do something about it (and let’s be honest, it would be insulting to our alpha if I would stand up in his place), I gave him some friendly advise (as in shut up and suck it up). I don’t know exactly what happened after. But they ended up being wanted by the police for abducting female tourists. So the rest of us stepped in and tried to settle this before it all went up in our faces.
The more important thing was getting into the library. The Black Furies were only allowing tribemembers in there; and ofcourse our Fury is a lupus. She went inside, and I remained at the beach, trying to figure out a way to assist whitout breaking any laws.
Something strange happened. I heard a windchime, and as I went to investigate I found an ancient bow on a rock. The sky darkened and a star in the constellation Pegasus brightened considerably.
I figured this had to be a shrine or something of the Black Fury tribe, I decided to let it be.
When Blood on Snow arrived I informed her about the phenomenon. She’s theurge after all. She decided to shoot an arrow.
The result was a meteor striking the earth e few meters down the beach, which opened up a tunnel. This led into the lowest areas of the library.
Blood on Snow interpreted this as a message from Pegasus, the tribal totem of the bLack Furies, inviting us in to assist our Black Fury in her search.
So in we went.
But before we could do research, we were met with an assault by Black Spiral Dancers. They’d performed some dark ritual, meant to release an evil wyrm tainted spirit being held captive in this very library. The wardings on the place trapped us inside, and any possible relief from the sept outside. So we handled to situation ourselves. We bound the spirit once more.
The sept asked us to stay at one of their farms while they looked into the situation, but we managed to appease them. And we got the information we needed.
