Niksi Underbrush has long been identified as the scoundrel and rogue of the village of Vew, where his antics and sticky fingers often result in scraps with the militia whenever they pass through the village.

Orphaned not long after he was born, Niksi always looked out for number one but was always too lazy to do any real work for himself. Subsequently, his first crime spree was a series of baked pie and cake thefts to indulge his notorious sweet tooth. This crime spree ultimately came to an end when the bakers and chefs decided to spice all their cakes and bread with fire seeds, a notoriously spicy flavouring which when taking in too much abundance has numerous unpleasant side effects on the bowels.

Though never malicious in his meandering, Niksi’s selfishness and unwillingness to turn his talents to a positive worth means that shopkeepers and townsfolk alike keep a constant eye on their possessions whenever the notorious halfling is lurking about.
