Ay’Atle or ‘master of masters’, is the most powerful of all Dinagul in Tesserane. She guards the Borderlands around the Academy, letting only the most worthy of mortals pass. Strangely enough, she is not evil, although she is very violent and unpredictable at best, shifting from fire to ice in the blink of an eye. Ay’Atle has a few worshippers, who sometimes go by the same name to honor their mistress.

Legend tells Ay’Atle was the first of all Dinagul to ally with mankind against the Demons. Much later, she aided the archmages against her own kind, by telling them how to ‘put Dinagul to sleep’. Some tell she bore the Archmage Vrynn two children, the Demi-Gods Nivister and Illien, the only Dinagul able to leave their ‘domain’.
