Traveling to Lake Pyros

March 04, 2013 21:32

24 Veltom

Following Skreet, you board the waiting t’skrang riverboat, the K’reest-et, and set sail only a few hours before the sun sets. Unlike the galley-sized ship the troupe met aboard, this vessel seems more designed for speed and maneuverability; its many scars and scorches indicate that its agility may well have saved its crew more than once, but the sheer number of these blemishes make all wonder exactly what it has seen. Its captain, T’sshnurr, appears to have suffered every blow his ship has been through, his visible flesh pocked and scarred.

Integration Problems

March 04, 2013 21:28

From the Journal of Sharak Langenbart, Weaponsmith:

23 Veltom: It has been nearly three weeks since the opening of the kaer and it seems difficult to believe that this is the first chance I have had to sit down and take note of what has been happening.

The Opening of Kaer Ardanyan

February 28, 2013 21:34

From the Journal of Sharak Langenbart, Weaponsmith:

2 Veltom: Opening Day! Delayed to avoid tramping on yesterday’s Bitter Feast of Chorrolis, Kaer Ardanyan has been officially opened! There have been feasts and speeches all day long, not to mention the dancing and music, which have been lovely, or the drinking, which has been prodigious. It seems like it has been weeks since we were captured by the elves just on the other side of this gate, but it has really only been a few days. This will also mark the beginning of a new journal, as the old one was severely damaged when we were captured by the elves and the residents here wanted to keep it in any event. They promised to get me a copy of the contents at some point so I will have the information on hand for future reference.

Inside the Kaer

January 03, 2013 19:41

From the Journal of Sharak Langenbart, Weaponsmith:

?? Straasa 1508: It has been less than a day since I mast made an entry, I think, though I am not certain. I am scribbling down a few notes as the mob is banging on the doors and walls and Nels tries to find a way out. I may not have another chance and maybe if someone bothers to read this journal they will discover the truth for themselves.

Into the Mine

September 07, 2012 20:35

From the Journal of Sharak Langenbart, Weaponsmith:

?? Straasa 1508: So much has happened since I was able to find the time and energy to write, I am not even certain of the date. Looking back, when I last set pen to page we were about to set off for the mine and to confront the Brithan

Wanted: Dead or Alive

July 15, 2012 23:15

From the Journal of Sharak Langenbart, Weaponsmith:
25 Straasa 1508: Parth had found us again at the inn where Nels and I had previously stayed in Bartertown. I had not gotten fleas there or robbed, so I figured it was safe enough to stay at again.

There and Back Again

June 29, 2012 23:02

From the Journal of Sharak Langenbart, Weaponsmith:

23 Straasa 1508: We camped today after traveling a long way toward Throal. It was mostly quiet after we found Isir Faang’s body, at least until we reached the crossroads with those strange birds. I am getting ahead of myself. We had not traveled long before we discovered a human corpse a short ways outside of town. It had been dead for long enough to be eaten at by wild animals, but intact enough as to be recognizable as Isir Faang. We decided not to bury the nethermancer since his body had already been desecrated and we had a long way to ride to possibly save a man still living. It did not sit well with me, but perhaps we can rectify the situation after we return to Ardanyan.

Death of Isir Faang

June 08, 2012 22:56

From the Journal of Sharak Langenbart, Weaponsmith:

21 Strassa 1508: With Parth freed, after paying a fine, we went back out to see if the artifact that Isir Faang had asked us to retrieve was still there. On the way out of town we saw a number of prisoners being lead into town by the guards in chains. This didn’t seem all that unusual so we continued to the “graveyard”

Looking for Trouble in Ardanyan

April 19, 2012 16:01

From the Journal of Sharak Langenbart, Weaponsmith:
20 Strassa 1508 – We arrived at Ardanyan today after traveling much of the day. The city is arranged in two parts, a central part called the Ring inside of which the rich dwell and an outer section with its own wall. It is a clean city and well patrolled. The elves seem to run the town

Some Smithing and Some Walking

March 30, 2012 18:14

From the Journal of Sharak Langenbart, Weaponsmith:
26 Doddul 1507: The return trip to Bartertown was as uneventful as when we left. We met with Darron and told him of Lang’s hardships. While stressed at the news, he was pleased the situation had been resolved, though not as pleased with having to pay us I think. Ah well.
