Rise of the Fae is a Dungeons and Dragons, 4E campaign. However, unlike many of the campaigns 4E is designed for, this campaign occurs in the near future, and in known areas of Earth.

This campaign is a cooperative element…i.e….I am opening up to others to help me build the history, areas and players in this. I think this will be an interesting development as we pool our collective love of fantasy and mix it with the post-modern storytelling similar in ways to Rift or Shadowrun.

As you have an idea, post it in the forums and I will move it into the Wiki. Please don’t be upset if I tweek or modify little things to move it a little closer to how I view this concept, and please don’t retcon my ideas or others. It’s a cooperative world building!

So if you have this idea of a specific area, or lore, or mythology and want to introduce it to this campaign….do it! Want Godzilla to actually destory Tokyo? Write up what happened. Help develop the lore.

Want to explain how sorcerers or wizards work in this world? How about magick? Write it up!
