A3 (Trap filled glade) It will take 3 days to fully map and survey this area. This parcel of land is the northern most tip of the Narlmarches forest zone, and is about 18 miles as the crow flies from Oleg’s outpost. This area of forest is easily the most “civilized” you have seen. The trees are fairly spread out and the undergrowth is not terribly overgrown as you might find in the deep forest. There are fallen trees here and there, but there are also extensive signs of habitation .. a hewn log here, the remains of an old abandoned crop field there.. perhaps the stump from a cut down tree or a shed who’s roof has fallen in left behind from a settler that abandoned their homestead decades ago. As you move through the area and explore it.. on day two you come across a grisly discovery. A large glade has been filled with animal traps of every size and description, some have been triggered and the animals left to die in the sun and rot where they were trapped. It seems obvious that these traps have not been checked in quite some time and who knows how many more are still waiting to go off throughout the area.
