Hi guys, I have to cancel for tonight. Works crazy this afternoon. I’ve left messages for everyone but Mike D. If anyone has his number can they give him a call? Ed
Hi guys…I’ve hit a snag at work and I’m trying to wrap it up. I will call Cormac’s in about an hour with an update. Just a heads up. Still hoping to run tonight.
I’d expect most are en route or at the very least not going to look at a ‘puter pefore leaving I’d send this out anyway. Ryan and Walter aren’t going to make it tonight. Robert will be arriving around around 6:30. Assuming we get a quorum (4 players) we’ll play.
I write this from Mojo, so I’ll be at Cormac’s around 6.
My apologies, but I might not make it tonight, as I have a group paper due tomorrow for a business class, and to my chagrin, a few members of the group have been somewhat remiss in their duties. So, this of course, leads to a meeting in which the folks who did the work will help motivate the ones who didn’t so that we don’t bomb out our grade. This summer semester has been a pain.
Hey all! Might be a little late tonight, as I have an MRI scheduled this afternoon, and with all the running about, it might delay me a tad, but I’ll be there ASAP!
The dynamics of experience and levelling have changed since 1st edition. 1st edition had an incredibly slow levelling rate. I can recall Magic-Users needing 375k/level at some point. That process has been accelerated in 3.5+/Pathfinder.
Current Adventure Paths (the equivalent of module series like Slavers, GDQ) are designed to go from 1st to 12-15th level. The old ones from Dungeon magazine took you to 20. Depending on how often you play, this can take 6 months, a year or longer.
Pardon my ignorance, but I wanted to ask…from what I understand, an adventure path, like ‘rise’ is designed to take players through multiple levels. How many levels do you think this adventure will cover?
Just curious. When I played RPGs in my youth, we’d always take one character and just play and play and play that character for long periods of time until they felt like family members you wished you could put to sleep. It seems like the common dynamic these days is to craft a character for a series of adventures, and role a new hero after the current one wraps up.
Hi all…For those using Hero Lab and pasting the stat blocks you’ll notice that there is some wierd underlining that happens. The reason is that the plus sign is a Textile formatting command to do underlining.
There are two ways to fix this.
Using a text editor, replace the plus sign with
&43;
.
Put the tags
and
around the stat block.
As a sample, I fixed August’s sheet. Let me know if you have any questions and I hope you find this helpful.
Looking over the characters listed thus far, I like the fact that the highest charisma in the group belongs to the Half Orc. At the least, this should make for interesting social encounters.
Ok, so a small annoyance. I updated the calendar for May 2 and the default was to zap all the responses for attendance to the game. Anyway, it will be at Cormac’s house. Will post directions soon.
By the way, post any general questions, comments, etc here in the comments section of the wiki.
Hi all,
I found the reference. Magnimar is one day’s ride from Sandpoint or two days walk.
Cheers,
Ed

That’s because I never get to play – my PFS characters all have minimum 12 charisma.
Anyhow, I like the write up on Ogami. This party is shaping up.
Hmm, that seems like it is becoming a theme. In our Pathfinder Society game the half-orc alchemist is also the most charismatic with a score of 10. :)
