What the Posse Knows

Sykers are dangerous folk, able to kill with a thought… although half of them ain’t that bad with a knife or a gun, either. You can tell them right off from the total lack of head on their heads.

Before the bombs dropped a whole mess of Sykers found themselves shipped off to some place called Banshee to fight in The Faraway wars. They arrived just in time to be greeted by the nuked out remains of once was. Apparently the lot of them got to thinking that killing each other wasn’t in their best interests, so they swore and oath to avoid sending any mind bullets each others way.

The ones who agreed to this truce became the Oathtakers the ones who didn’t became the Apostates. These fellows got a big ‘ol A burned right into their foreheads, so they make even more of an impression. Finally, those that do kill their fellow brainers are called Oath breakers. The few sykers who weren’t on Banshee aren’t anything at all to those folks, so the whole things a but confusing to anyone who can’t read minds.
