Starting PC races: human, half-elf, half-orc or shifter
PC can be any class in Character builder (but not hybrid) and start as level 4
Character backgrounds (except general) are subject to DM approval and should be supported by backstory
Each character must choose a patron deity (CORE only + Traveller)
Cold cheese (wintertouched/lasting frost) is frowned upon by the gods – I guess this “rule” is rather obsolete with the latest update, apparently wizards also frown upon cold cheese
Inherent bonuses, magic items will either be created during play or will be rewarded by DM
But magic items are at the very least uncommon
By extension certain rituals (Item creation) may be really hard to come by
And also very much desired i.e. flashing magic items around may not be wise
Divine boons, legendary boons, grandmaster training
All dependant on PCs rank with deity, organization and/or grandmaster
DM will keep record of player rank with deities, organizations and/or grandmasters
Basic level of this is alignment which will be more along the lines of 3.5 meaning two axis good/neutral/evil and lawful/neutral/chaotic
PC alignment WILL be adjusted upon leveling up and based on player actions – it is perception of player actions in the world NOT player wishes
Deity ranking is personal and based on alignment and missions for deity and own patron deity as well as missions
Grandmaster ranking is personal and only starts based on alignment after that it is based on missions, behavior and advancement
Organization ranking is party based and is based on missions, behavior and advancement
The heroes may choose one magic item of up to 5th level and any mundane gear (not ritual components and such)
