The Maelstrom Hammer is the ancestral weapon of the Maelstrom clan. It is made of solid granite with an acorn inset into the flat of the head.

Ordinarily it is a +1 Warhammer. If the Maelstrom clan has regained its honor, it is a +3 Flaming Frost Thundering  Warhammer. Any member of the Maelstrom clan automatically gains proficiency in it.

Additionally, it can be used once (and only once) to summon the last of the Maelstrom clan warriors for their final battle on the material plane.
