Gotham by Night has tweaked the way they handle Nature in their game. I WILL NOT be adapting their new system but they have added (and subtracted) a few natures. I see no problem with extending the list of possible Natures a player may choose from. If you are interested the page to view the new Natures is here:

A few updates to some of your characters today:

• Added the “Retired” Tag to Nate and Kass until their players are interested in playing again.
• Moved Nate, Kass, Sarah and Kate into the NPC characters. This will not prevent their playability should their owners desire it.
• Gunnar had somehow lost his portrait and reverted to the default silhouette OP provides. I have reuploaded the image that was previously there.

I’ve fiddled with the layout of the fatebindings page and added in some fatebound roles for locations to help spice up the fact that there won’t always be someone to become fatebound to in an area. I’m interested in hearing any problems, critiques or concerns you have with what I’ve added.

I’ve added the Hero level boons of the Titan-Blooded purview for your review and critique before moving on. This was added because I know not every character finds an interest in the PSP and I wanted to give you guys more options that reflect the mythological concept of the game. If anyone is interested in seeing more boons in the purview, let me know and I’ll keep working on it.

OK. I’m ready for the Duat session as of yesterday. Once that has happened I can do everyone else’s independent sessions.

I wanted to let you know I have a few things in the pipeline for Scion development too. I’m working on a Pantheon Level Purview that is available to all Scions that helps harness the Titanic element of their ichor, I’m expanding and tweeking the fatebinding system to include fatebound locations, and I’ll be reverse engineering the stat-blocks of the Aesir to help the design process of statting up the gods. If you have any opinions on the process of these things as they happen I am always open to suggestions.

Thanks for the “offer”, MorganWilliams. Lack of physical presence aside, time-of-day issues would pose additional problems for the next few months…I’m doing a Study Abroad in Nagasaki, Japan at the moment. I’m 14 hrs. ahead of US Central time.

Ghandi, the first Scion game I was a part of was actually done like that; unfortunately, it was really difficult to keep track of what was going on, plus a lot of dialogue was changed when one person “spoke” before another and revisions had to be made.
It definitely has a lot of potential, though. In the D&D game I ran from Nov. ’09 to Dec. ’10, we had a player who did a study abroad in Fukuoka, Japan. We Skyped him in, and apart from having to adjust cameras frequently for combat for him (battle maps w/ minis), it was pretty fluid.

On April 12, 2011 at 04:13 PM Ghandi said:

Also, Maesenko, I don’t know if you’ve considered this, but I’ve ran a few games actually over the internet. Using resources like AIM chat rooms, Google Docs drawing feature (in which you can make battle grids and the like), and Obsidian Portal one can put together a pretty good game for a few players. It gets difficult if you have too many people at once due to typing delays, but otherwise it can work out pretty well.
