Twisting the Knife

For 1 willpower per round for a number of rounds up to the Scion’s legend, the Scion, without requiring physical contact, may inflict 1L damage for a weapon (including bullets and shrapnel) which has been lodged in the target for at least one round. The Scion must have been the cause of the original damage (i.e. thrust the sword, hurled the grenade, shot the bullet).

McLeod’s Secret

For 1 legend, a Scion may bond with any non-relic weapon, or for 1 willpower bond with any relic weapon (birthright weapons need not be bonded). These bonded weapons may then be stored and recalled from within the Scion’s divine essence. Each recall costs 1 legend and the number of weapons bonded may not exceed the Scion’s legend.

Feel Lucky Punk?

A Scion may activate this boon for 1 legend and 1 willpower. For the rest of the scene, the Scion gains a bonus equal to the target’s missing health levels on any social checks so long as the user of the boon remains armed. Additionally, the Scion may spend 1 further willpower to select an enemy. If that enemy attacks the Scion while Feel Lucky Punk? is active, the Scion’s next action is relocated to the same tick as the target’s, allowing the Scion to react to an oncoming attack.

I’m Always Armed

While some Scions have means of remaining armed via relic-specific powers, Scions possessed of the Weapon Purview may use a different method. By spending 2 legend, the Scion may activate this boon. For the rest of the scene, anytime the Scion would be disarmed, out of ammunition, or otherwise without a weapon, they may spend 1 willpower to obtain (be it from an enemy’s hand, a comrade’s aid, an improvised object, or sheer luck) another weapon (or ammunition, if they so choose). A weapon may not be taken from an unwilling target of higher legend and birthright relics may never be taken.

Perfect Trajectory

For 3 legend and 2 willpower, the Scion becomes aware of precisely the necessary trajectory to make impossible attacks possible. A Scion using this boon may gain the knowledge necessary to shoot the boot heel off of a fleeing soldier, throw a knife with the timing necessary to have it cut their name into a foe, or punch a thug so that he bounces through an open door and into his friends, saving a teammate. Additionally, the Scion becomes aware of the trajectories needed to attack her or her companions. Functionally, this doubles a Scion’s thrown, melee, or accuracy for a single string of attacks or dodge pool for a round.
