Combat Guidelines
Combat rules we are deprecating for now:
Random hit location (called shots are ok)
Bulk ratings on weapons
Grid Facing (we’ll play like D&D for now, you can see all the attacks coming, and side-facing is irrelevant)
Missile weapons SnapShot modifiers (aim for one round to get the accuracy bonus but we won’t bother calculating the SnapShot penalty for not aiming).
Hitting wrong targets on a missile weapon miss
Melee weapon breakage when parrying vs. a larger weapon
Knockback
Blunt trauma from damage stopped by flexible armor
Calculating damage and repairs to armor
