Hakken are basically Lycans or “wolf-men” inhabiting Sengokurov. They believe they are descended from Ookami, the great wolf god who many say created all animals.

Generally soldiers and hunters the Hakken believe that it is their duty to protect the Emerald portals.

• Lunar Affinity: Hakken gain a +1 to attacks and damage when immersed in moonlight.
• Fur: All Hakken have a thick coat of fur. This provides a +4 bonus on fortitude saves to resist the effects of a cold environment.
• Keen Scent: Scent is an automatic racial Feat.
• Dire Blood: A Hakken can take the Gigantism Feat at 1st level without penalty.
• Automatic Languages: Common, Hakkan, Spirit Tongue, Jigoku
  Favored Class: Barbarian or Ranger.
