Also known as the God of Beasts and Monsters, the Eternal Nightmare, the Forgotten Pain. Syn has been cast into an internal slumber from which he is cursed to forever live within a nightmare. From his dreamlike state, he creates the monster and beasts that inhabit the world of Serinor. Although he has lost the ability to interact directly with the world of Serinor, he tries to influence it indirectly by creating creatures to act on his behalf.

The Ar’Kimu

The Ar’Kimu or Arkimu are monsters possessing intellect which were created by Syn to serve him in the world of Serinor. As Syn lacks the ability to directly control the action of the Ar’Kimu, their individual personalities and personal interests leads them to fight amongt themselves and sometimes act in ways against their creator’s wish.

Most races of Serinor fear Ar’Kimu as they see them as dangerous and uncontrollable entities.
