This spiraling spire crafted from solid mithril has been the topic of speculation, myth and legend for countless centuries. The spire rises several hundred feet from within the depths of the sea, a few miles off the white sand shores of Tu’Banor. The spire was actually the center-piece of the ancient city of Tubanor, and after the civilization sank beneath the sea, this one remnant remained, towering too high to be swallowed by the sea.

It is known that magic works strangely around and about the tower, and later the adventurers learn that it is actually the key to an ancient portal to the moon Illstraga. Magic cast within the tower (utilizing the focus crystal) is 100x more powerful than usual. This works for both arcane and divine magics.

Using the seven travelers stones, the tower awakens what was once known as the “Great Worm” – a wormhole that allows near instantaneous travel via airship to the ancient city of the gods, Vaxpora on the moon Illstraga.
