The White Sands Coast rests on the northern most part of the southern half of Tu’Banor. From the sands of the long beach visitors can get the best land-based view of the Ancient Sea Spire, and it is often revered as a place of contemplation. The priests from the High Temple in the city of New Tu’Banor hold a yearly celebration here remembering their ancient ancestors who created the spectacle.
Holiday: Jasmir 25th – Day of the Ancients (Tu’Banor Holiday). The celebration includes the burning of a massive bonfire on the White Sands Coast and a tradition known as “Shouting to the Sea” in which citizens of Tu’Banor who attend the event cast polished stones into the sea while shouting the names of their deceased loved ones – a gesture of respect and remembrance.
