The Inner Council is the governing body of the town of Tacket, creating its laws and regulating trade. The Inner Council is mostly a shadowy, mysterious group although some Council Members, such as Marcus have some role in the public eye. Although rumours exist, it is generally unknown as to how the Inner Council came to ruling Tacket, or how one might seek to become a Council Member.

The Inner Council resides inside of the Inner City of Tacket, a seperated area that is reserved for officials and those who work for them. The Inner Council spend much time ruling the city and conducting meetings in the Council Building, a very large building in the centre of the Inner City
