Balasar met Etholin in one of Fallcrest’s local taverns as the eladrin sought information regarding his kidnapped sister and companions to help him find a man by the name of Douven Staul. The dragonborn warrior knew Staul from past trade dealings, and he had been looking for people to help him seek the old man out already. The serendipitous meeting led them to speak more, which drew the attention of other adventurers who had an interest in finding out more about Staul’s disappearance.
